  • CRICKET PNG TO HOST WEEK LONG CONFERENCE IN PORT MORESBY WITH REGIONAL CRICKET MANAGERS AND SENIOR DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS FROM AROUND PAPUA NEW GUINEA.

Cricket PNG’s Senior Manager-Domestic Cricket- Lakani Oala is lead presenter at the “2024 CPNG Domestic Cricket Conference” from Monday 12/Feb/2024 to Friday 16/Feb/2024 at Cricket PNG Haus in Amini Park.

The Domestic Cricket Conference will now include several equally important strands in addition to the BSP School Kriket program.

CEO Done said “We are evolving our domestic system, and broadening our focus to include the overall pathway, rather than just one part, is critical to continue our success. The first foray into doing this, through repositioning staff and being clear about the new outcomes, resulted in a Malolo program that saw over 170 junior teams registering.”

“My position is that we should be talking about our domestic structure as a cohesive pathway, rather than a bunch of separate programs. This is message I will be providing our staff this week, and this is the reason why we have invited them in from around Papua New Guinea, to understand and help deliver our domestic structure in 2024.”
