PacificAus Sports Player Placement Program

The start of the PacificAus Sports Player Placement program has Barramundis Men’s Cricketers, Sese Bau and Kabua Vagi Morea playing for Sandgate Redcliffe District Cricket Club in the Brisbane Grade One Day Competition in Queensland-Australia.  Sandgate is the home of new Barra Jack Gardner and has seen Norman Vanua play many games for the club over a number of years.  This has been arranged by and made possible by the assistance of PacificAus Sports, Barramundis Assistant Coach Justin Sternes and the Hutton family who are great supporters of Cricket Papua New Guinea.

Sese Bau and Kabua Vagi Morea have played three 50 over games whilst at Sandgate before returning home on the 26th of this month. This is part of Cricket PNG High Performance Strategy to ensure as many players as possible are exposed to higher levels of cricket leading into the ICC World Cup in 2024.
